As we know the Japanese love their Hello Kitty.

This thing is a video camera to the same extent a decent cell phone with video camera capability is. The camera is VGA quality when doing video, and apparently has some sort of image stabilization for when its taking stills at a measly 3.1
megapixels.

Really the only thing this camera is missing is a one-touch “upload to YouTube” button as that is the crowd it is clearly aimed at. It only bests the Flip brand of cameras by the fact that it has a viewfinder 2” LCD screen, and a few other useful additional features.

It comes with 64MB of memory integrated, but it also has an SD card slot for expansion. The other functions it can perform is that it can be an e-book reader, an MP3 player, and can do voice recording, I only count 5 functions, camera, camcorder, MP3, e-book, voice recording, unless they are counting picture viewing/video playback as a separate one. Did I mention it looks like a cell phone too? Anyways, no price or availability info right now, but I don’t know why you wouldn’t save your money to buy a better phone to do all of this stuff.

The Seitz 160-Megapixel D3 Digital Camera

Nope, that’s not a typo in the headline! Swiss company Seitz Phototechnik has just launched a whopping 160 megapixel digital camera. While most high-end D-SLRs can shoot images that size up to 24 x 36 mm, this monster can go up to 60 x 170 mm, which frankly is a helluva lot more. But you kind of guessed that when we mentioned the 160 megapixels, didn’t you?
You need to be really serious about the kind of pictures you’d want to shoot with the Seitz 6x17, since it’s around 18 inches wide and weighs close to 10 pounds. Oh, and it also costs $45,600(Rs. 1,794,360.00)

The 6x17 Digital employs a digital scanning back made by Dalsa. Scanning cameras employ a linear light sensor detector similar to that used in flatbed scanners; it moves across the field of view to take the photo rather than using a two-dimensional sensor that captures the entire scene simultaneously. It's a good way to get high resolution, but it comes at a cost: it takes a single second to take a full-resolution 7,500x21,500-pixel image.

The official site also gives you the option of buying a tablet PC with the Seitz 6x17, which makes sense considering the size of each full-res image would be close to 900 MB.[crave]

BenQ 8 megapixel DSC X800 Dgital Compact Camera

Last month BenQ presented a sleek and slim X835 with a mere 12.5mm in thickness but apparently that wasn’t enough so they went beyond 10mm this time with DSC-X800 which is said to be the World’s Slimmest 8mp digital compact camera at 9.8mm.
The display has been replaced with a larger 3” LTPS LCD and added a Super Macro mode that’s capable to focus at MFD of 1cm ~ 5cm.
